After years of stressful jobs, I decided to pursue an occupation where I could help others feel less stressed.
Massage therapy became the rewarding opportunity where I can help people on a personal level and spend more time with my family.
I graduated with Highest Honors from Globe University in 2011 with an Associate's degree in Massage Therapy.
I have 10+ years of experience doing all types of massage and specialize in Deep Tissue, Trigger Point and Sports Massage. See below for all of my massage modalities.
Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body. This massage is beneficial for athletes and those who sit for long periods of time.
The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body.
Hot Stone Massage is often paired with Swedish Massage. Stones are heated and used with oils to sooth, warm, and massage your muscles. This allows your body to relax and release tension and stress.
Myofascial release is useful for treating skeletal muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles. It also improves blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulates the stretch reflex in muscles. Myofascial release uses sustained pressure to stretch and lengthen the fascia.
Prenatal massage is therapeutic massage that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue.
Sports / Thai massage is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity, maintain the body in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries. Gentle pressure and stretching techniques are used to relax the whole body.
